Spam is breaking through

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Looks like spambots are starting to break through the plugin I have installed, will have to begin looking for a stronger solution.  Sad there always has to be the battle between spambots and blog authors.

Simpsons avatars

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

It appears that the Simpson Movie avatars are taking over profile pictures on Facebook at an exponential pace.  My projections put saturation of avatars at 6 days out.  You can make yours at simpsonmovie.com I think.

FaceMySpaceBook

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Rumor is tonight FaceBook becomes EVEN MORE like MySpace.  At this point Facebook deserves to crash and Mark Zuckerburg not get a dime (he was offered 750 mil for facebook a couple years ago and turned it down). Sure I'll keep using it they played it right,  slowly inject me with MySpaceness instead of the […]

Apple to hit 1 trillion $?

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Apple to be first to hit $1 trillion cap? A stock market commentator argues that within the next five years, Apple will become the first company to reach a $1 trillion market cap, a 12:1 growth from current valuations. This is based primarily on 2007 estimates of profit and growth: Apple's retail stores, for instance, […]

YouTube Debates

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

CNN is holding the YouTube debate tonight. I think I am going to try to DVR it.  Could be interesting.  I'm certainly not convinced that Hillary is a lock for the nomination, it's simply too early yet.  I hope and wish more people, especially youth will listen to the debates and follow candidates and make […]

The dollar fell to a record low of $1.3822 against the euro before trading at $1.3816 at 9:41 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.3781 in New York yesterday. It dropped to 121.94 yen from 122.34. The U.S. currency may decline to $1.3830 per euro and 121.50 yen today, Saito said. […]

Corn Prices

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

NBC says corn prices are too low because someone is stealing movies while the other buzz is corn prices are too high and it's going to ruin us all.  I imagine it's neither.  Obviously NBC sounded simply foolish when it said that, and I don't see the harm in farmers making a little bit of […]

Starcraft

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Amazon has the Starcraft Battle Chest for $12.99 right now, bump the order to $25 and get free shipping.  I'd recommend perhaps a Command and Counquer package.

**UPDATE** Looks like it's down to $9.99 right now.

damn pwning gets old

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

Finally got the Radiospy on a game of xbox 360 live tonight.  He still wouldn't play Starcraft but he's gaming a lil more with the civilized world none the less.  Anyways we were crashing cars and the subject of Sony came up.  Now you know he maintains HD isn't the defining factor of this generation […]
